Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) programs are usually one year or less in length and offer short-term training to meet specific needs and employment requirements. TCC programs focus on practical training rather than academic coursework.
TCC programs are designed for those students who wish to make a swift transition into the workforce. Students often earn certificates to get a step ahead in the professional field of their interest, and certificates may be offered in similar programs leading to diplomas and degrees.
The Nurse Aide Technical Certificate of Credit prepares students with classroom training and practice as well as the clinical experiences necessary to care for patients in various settings including general medical and surgical hospitals, nursing care facilities, community care facilities for the elderly, and home health care services.
The Basic Electronic Assembler certificate program is designed to prepare students for careers as entry-level production technicians in a manufacturing environment, or as service technicians or operators in the telecommunications industry.
