Students interested in the Work-Study program must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and meet the eligibility criteria below.  Students who indicate interest on the FAFSA for federal Work-Study, may be automatically be awarded or contacted to participate in the program. Students who did not indicate interest on the FAFSA may contact the Financial Aid Office to determine eligibility.

Eligible students may apply for positions online.   Positions opportunities are available in various offices and departments of Georgia Piedmont Technical College and other off campus positions.

 

ELIGIBILITY

In order to be eligible for an award, students must:Be an enrolled student pursuing a Diploma or Degree

  • Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Must have financial need as determined by the FAFSA
  • Have his/her financial aid file verified by the Office of Financial Aid, and receive confirmation of an approved award
  • Not have defaulted on or owe a repayment to any federal aid program received for study at another institution
