With the addition of four new members, the August 25 meeting marked the first one of the 2020-2021 GPTC Board of Directors. This ten-member team of community and business leaders is committed to working in close cooperation with GPTC President Tavarez Holston to accomplish the college’s mission and goals. The meeting was held virtually via WebEx, as the college continues to practice socially distancing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Plans succeed because of many advisers. Our Local Board of Directors is an invaluable asset to the college. They bring a wealth of expertise, influence and perspective to help us achieve our mission of workforce development,” said President Holston. “We are truly blessed to have such champions of technical education in our midst.”
